On an old map this area used to be Wood Farm so I wonder if Sparhawk Avenue, Peregrine Close etc are something to do with birds in the woods? Please help if you know.

Sparhawk Park
The park was officially opened on Saturday 3rd April 1976 by the chairman of Sprowston Parish Council, Mr. Charles Taylor. The park includes an infants' play area, public toilets, gardens, a boating pond and the retention of the adventure playground, which was constructed in 1972. Before he cut the tape. Mr. Taylor told a large gathering of parents and children that it was almost ten years since the parish council had expressed an interest in acquiring the site and developing it as a recreational area for parishioners. Park was built by The Hackett Builders and the mounds have old building materials underneath from all the houses they built in the area.
