Aslake Close
Empty Shop
Updated: July 2024
In the late 1980's it was a shop called Arthur's which sold bric-a-brac etc. Around 1990 it became a charity shop. Later it became a wood work toys shop made by the people who attend the then Sprowston Training centre and later it was a branch of John Brown Funeral Director's that has its base on North Walsham Road. It is currently empty.

I have always been intrigued by the gate at the end of Asklake Close. Was it put there when they built St Margarets Drive or was it an old field entrance?
