Brewery Road, Trunch
Trunch Brewery
The picture below shows the old Brewery which was founded in 1837. It was taken over by W. D. Churchill in 1904 and again by Morgans in 1952. The Brewery was demolished back in the 50’’s. It was taken over by Morgan's Brewery, Nowich in early 1900's. Brewery House still and it was situated behind the actual Brewery and is believed to have been built for the manager and his family. There were once tennis courts for the workers which is now the orchard and we have converted some store buildings to create a small Holiday accommodation called The Maltings.
Thanks to Barbara Whybrow and Melanie Armstrong for the photo of the bottle found in her garden.
